Privacy Policy

DiGital Content Technologies Pte Ltd (“DGCT”, “we”, “us”), 545 Orchard Road, #15-05 Far East Shopping Centre, Singapore 238882, respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, and how we protect it, in line with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

What we collect

You can browse this website without telling us who you are. We only collect personal data when you send us a message through the contact form:

  • your name (optional), email address and message;
  • the date and time of your message and the IP address it was sent from;
  • the approximate location of that IP address (city, region and country), looked up in a database kept on our own server, the host name registered for it (for example your internet provider), and the languages set in your browser;
  • how you reached the form: the page you were reading just before, the website or link that brought you to our site (if any), and the first page you visited.

Like any web server, our hosting server also keeps standard technical logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type) for security and troubleshooting.

We also use Google Analytics to measure visits: which pages are viewed, for how long, from which country and type of device, and how visitors found the site. These statistics are anonymous to us.

Why we use it

  • to answer your enquiry and follow up on it, and to send you an automatic confirmation that we received it;
  • to protect the contact form against spam and abuse (a security check, and a limit on the number of messages sent from the same connection);
  • to keep the website secure and working;
  • to understand how the website is used and improve it (Google Analytics).

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Third-party services

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to answer them and to manage our business relationship with you, and then delete them. Anti-spam data is kept for one hour, and the IP addresses it uses are stored only in hashed form.

Security

The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and messages are stored on our server in a location that is not accessible from the web.

Your rights

You can ask us to access or correct the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to its use. Contact our Data Protection Officer through the contact form, choosing the topic “Privacy & personal data”.
