This policy explains what the DGCT website stores in your browser. In short: we do not use advertising cookies. We use Google Analytics to measure how many people visit the site and which pages they read.
What we store
- Theme preference (
dgct-theme, kept in your browser’s local storage): remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. It never leaves your browser, and you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser data. - Visit origin (
dgct-arrival, kept in your browser’s session storage and deleted when you close the tab): the website that brought you here and the first page you visited. It is only sent to us if you send a message through the contact form. - Google Analytics (
_gaand_ga_*cookies, kept up to 2 years): count visits and show which pages are read, so we can improve the site. The statistics we see are anonymous and are not used for advertising. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services.
Third-party services
- Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact page may use cookies or similar technologies, strictly to check that the form is used by a person and to protect it from spam. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
- Google Maps, embedded on the contact page, may set cookies when the map loads. See how Google uses cookies.
- Links to other websites (for example LinkedIn) are governed by those sites’ own cookie policies once you follow them.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The website keeps working without them; only the theme preference and, on the contact page, the security check and the map may be affected.
